Baked Yellow
Plaintains - Dominican
Republic
6 Ripe Plaintains (they will be
yellow)
1/2 Cup brown
sugar
8 TO 10
Cloves
2 T Cooking
oil
1/2
Cinnamon
Cut plaintain in half or
leave whole if preffered.
Place oil and seasoning
mix in iron pot. When hot, add plaintains and
brown slightly.
