Beef
Stroganoff
2 lbs round steak (cut into bite
size pieces)
1/4 cup
shortening
1 medium can mushroom pieces (better
than fresh)
1/4 cup minced
onion
1 clove garlic
(minced)
3 Tablespoons
flour
3 cups boiling
water
3 bouillon cubes
(beef)
2 Tablespoons
parsley
1 cup sour
cream
salt and pepper to
taste
Brown beef pieces in fat, add
bouillon cubes to water & then put everything in
pot with meat (except sour cream). Simmer
about three hours - Add sour cream about 10 minutes
before serving.
Serve with rice or
noodles.
