Sour Cream Raisan Pie

 

1 cup brown sugar    
1 cup sour cream 
2 tablespoons flour   
3 eggs, seperated 
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg   
1 cup raisins 
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon   
6 tablespoons granulated sugar  
1/4teaspoon salt   
1- 9 inch baked pie shell   
  
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine brown sugar, flour, spices, salt and sour cream in top of double boiler and cook until thick.  Beat egg yolks in a seperate dish.  Blend a little of the hot mixture into the eggs into the eggs; then add egg mixture to double boiler, stirring constantly.  Cook for 5 minutes and add raisins.  Cool.  Place in baked pie shell and cover with meringue made by beating egg whites and granulated sugar until stiff.  Brown in oven about 12 minutes
